DIY Dummy Load With Power Transistor

For making this power load, we are using two transistor BC547 and 2n3055. Instead using 2n3055 we can use any other transistor which satisfy Vce > voltage we are supplying in the circuit and Ic> the maximum current we want in our variable load. We must be careful of the polarity when we connect the circuit - collectors of the transistor must be positive and emitter negative . We also must be careful not to move the potentiometer all the way to the top (to the posetive side) , because that will be short circuit!!!
